- Understand balance (symmetrical and asymmetrical)
- Explore printmaking
- Explore watercolor techniques using various brush strokes
- Create a weaving (simple loom with yarn)
- Connect art and other subjects (math, science, literature, writing)
- Explore how various cultures express ideas through their art forms
- Develop more advanced clay construction techniques
